Children and Youth Ministry

"Bring one, Teach One"

The New Mount Gilead Youth Ministry exists to worship, glorify and praise God. We do this by witnessing to our youth community, teaching, disciplining, and cultivating each youth in the Word of God. Our exciting motto is, "Bring One Teach One."

Our Youth Ministry is under the leadership of Rev. Kinnie and Sis. Jennifer Clark. Together they challenge our youth with the word of God and providing them with God's principals to take on each day as a youth.

Age Groups:

- 0-5 Years
- 6-8 Years
- 9-12 Years
- 13-17 Years

Our youth department includes but not limited to the following:

- Youth Ushers
- Youth Choir
- Youth Praise Dancers
- Youth Drama Team

Children’s Ministry Vision Statement  

Our vision is to produce followers of Christ, confident in ministry participation and excited about church and the Christian life.  

Teen Ministry Vision Statement 

Our vision is that teen youth turn out to be spiritually mature Christians (Disciples of Christ) actively involved in their church and community showing the love of Christ and sharing their faith with others. 

Parent Ministry Vision Statement 

Our vision is to have strong families impressing the Word of God into the hearts and minds of their children.  
  • Our Youth Church focuses on providing our youth with sound doctrine on the word of God.  Youth Church meets every 3rd and 4th Sunday.
  • The Youth Choir rehearses the Saturday before the 2nd Sunday of each month.  The information can be also found on the Church Calendar.
    The Youth Choir ministers on the 2nd Sunday of each month.
